Hector Extends Loan

28 March 2013

Michael Hector has extended his stay with Cheltenham until the end of the season.

Reading defender Michael Hector has extended his stint with Cheltenham Town until the end of the season.

Michael and Reading have agreed to a youth loan deal which means there is no 93 day restriction on his stay here at the Abbey Business Stadium. There is however a 24 hour recall should Reading decide to call Michael back to the Madejski Stadium.

"Michael has been superb for us and I'd like to thank Reading for allowing us to keep him." said Mark Yates.

"He is a good young defender and he has done really well since being here. He's a young player but he has a big future and it was important that we were able to keep hold of him until the end of the season."

The 20 year-old central defender has featured in every single match since joining the club with 12 appearances and he has helped oversee three clean sheets during that time.

All loan players currently with the club right now will be here right through past the dates for the League Two play-off matches meaning that they would be available for a possible play-off campaign.
